3 Point Harness This safety harness has 3 straps securing the baby in the stroller. Two straps go across the baby's legs, and one comes up between the legs and all three straps snap into a buckle.

5 Point Harness This safety harness has 5 straps securing the baby in the stroller. Two straps come over each shoulder, two more over each leg and one comes up between the legs and all snap into a buckle.

Attachable Tray A tray that attaches to the stroller for holding toys, food or a bottle. Some strollers are sold with the tray.

Baby Stroller Basically, it is a seat attached to an aluminum and plastic frame with four wheels and handles to push it. Designed to easily fold and compact for storage.

Cup/Bottle Holder Device made to conveniently hold a bottle or cup and attaches to the stroller.

Double Stroller A baby stroller with two seats either side by side or tandem, made to accommodate twins or siblings close in age.

Insect Netting A netted material to place over the stroller to protect the baby from insects when outside.

Jogging Stroller Made typically for the active parent who enjoys outdoor walks or jogs. A seat for the baby on a frame with three pneumatic tires for the ourdoor terrain.

Lightweight Stroller Basically a baby stroller made with a less cumbersome frame, weighing less than 15 pounds.

Sit and Stand Stroller A Stroller designed to accommodate two children, one sits in the seat of the stroller and the other can sit on the padded jump seat or stand on the platform.

Storage basket A basket or netted sack usually placed low on the stroller, used for storing your diaper bag, bottles, toys, and other items.

Sun Canopy A hood or cover attached to the stroller that blocks the sun from the baby's face. Some are large enough to cover the entire stroller seat.

Swivel Wheels Wheels with the ability to rotate or pivot for easy steering.

Tandem Used to describe the seating arrangement for the double and triple strollers. The seats are positioned one behind the other.

Travel System The travel system includes the standard stroller, infant carrier/car seat and the car seat base. The infant carrier is designed to snap into the car seat base and the stroller making it easier to move the newborn or infant from one to the other.

Triple Stroller A baby stroller with three seats, tandem style, to accommodate triplets.

Umbrella Stroller Given it's unique name from the shape of the handles on the stroller. They are an up-side down "J", which resembles the shape of the old fashioned umbrella handle. It is basically a fabric seat attached to an aluminum and plastic frame with wheels and weighs even less than the lightweight stroller.

Weather Shield A clear plastic covering that goes over the stroller, some may attach to the stroller by a zipper or clips, to protect the baby from rain, wind and other weather elements. Also known as a rain cover or rain canopy.
